s205 code 77-48

was running fine shut off to get drink of water heavy rain came in then wouldn't crank getting code 77-48 what do i do to fix problem

77-48 is for the key switch. I'd check the connector on the back of it for corrosion.

Do you have a ACD connector on your machine? The electrical plug. Is it Bent/Damaged? Unplug it from the main harrness. The connector is in the back door.Big round plug on the left. The code is for multiple key switches

Thanks biggie. I know this is a 3 year old thread but a Google search for the 77-48 code brought me here. As soon as I saw smashed ACD connector I knew what the problem was. I disconnected the harness and was back in business. Brian
