S-300 lift actuator won’t calibrate

So I’m repairing a s-300 that had a lift actuator code. After you ran the machine a few min it would lock you out and throw a lift actuator code so I checked wiring and plugs for corrosion and that all checked out good. So I replaced the lift actuator with a new one from bobcat and tried manually calibrating it via the procedure my local bobcat dealer gave me. Close door pull lap bar down put switch to iso hold right stick all the way front and right then turn ignition on and unlock controls. After that it says you should get an audible beep and your calibration is complete. All I get now is a 38-11 code. Local bobcat dealer tells me to bring it in for them to calibrate. Was wondering if someone could help me out and tell me if I’m doing something wrong?

Sadly, replacing an actuator normally needs a dealer to calibrate and update the computer firmware. If the manufacture date on the actuator is the same, they should be a drop in replacement, but the newer revisions need a software update most times.
