Right side skidsteer steering weak

I have a case 1818 and the right side steering is weak the left seems to be strong. I’m going to try and adjust the chain tension tomorrow. Any suggestions on the problem? I’m hoping it’s not the hydraulic pump

It sounds to me like a pump/drive motor issue. I am not sure if your machine is fitted with case drain / pre-charge filters, but if it is, that could be a place to start.
Get a copy of a work shop manual if you don't have one already, that may help.
