I have a 720 with rear hydraulic connections that are operated by a lever on the left side of the drivers seat. Can someone tell me what these would be used for?

lol i know it doesnt have the rear stabilizers, i meant the hydraulic connections haha
Open the rear door and look on the left side. See if there are two lines on the chassis near the blower housing with plugs in them.
Also, lift the cab and see if the control block have 4 segments. If it does, you can add a push/pull cable to make it work.

Sadly, that is only 3. There are only 3 caps that means there are only 3 spools.
You could put in a diverter valve that is run from 12v if you really want rear hydraulics. Flick it one way for the front, the other for rear. It gives you an option i guess

I apologize in advance for hijacking this thread but I've got the rear stabilizers if anyone is interested in them. They came with my backhoe but I don't think I'd ever use them, look to be in good shape, the backhoe was as well
Make me a reasonable offer and they are yours, send me an email to ancomcabs at gmail dot com and I will take a picture

where are you located?

no kidding, i'm from melrose haha. you definitely got me thinking. what model were they on/how old are they?
The backhoe is a 609, they were on an S185 but I have a 130. I'm pretty sure they are adjustable the way they mount. I've never used them, only used the back hoe a couple times. Not sure on the age but the back hoe uses the newer style hook mounts.
I'm in Ayer MA about 35-40 minutes away

if there were an easy way to get them on my machine i'd buy them in a second, i just don't know the cheapest way to plumb them

does anyoneknow how they mount? it looks like i need to get longer pins for the arms and there is a peice that goes around it and tightens down?
http://www.surpluscenter.com/item.asp?catname=hydraulic&item=9-5117 would this work? look like if i split the aux hydraulics, send the existing one off one direction and run the other one into this, and it will split it into the two stabilizers? maybe a 12v switch of some sort. i have no idea.

Not sure it will...
You want a diverting valve so the oil can flow freely till you flick a switch then it is diverted down another port. You will need a double, one per aux line. You then hook the legs in parallel like the lift arms are and you should be set.
