Hi, I have a question, I somehow put 24 volts to the system on a 2000 New holland LS180 . The question I have is when I was trying to jump the thing off. I thought the battery was dead and when I wired up the other battery I had in series or parrallel which ever puts 24 volts to it and blew some fuses. I replaced the fuses. The skid wouldn't start up so I took out all the rest of the fuses and cleaned them, the engine did start up and run and seems to be running ok. However when I put a test light from the negative side of the battery to the engine block it lights up. In my thinking that means that the thing has a positive ground system, but the manual says it is negative ground. I was wondering if anyone could give me any info on why the engine block would show that it had power going to it. Thanks Henry

Having your test light glow during this check is an indication of a bad ground. Check your connections, something is either loose, or you have a bad ground cable.
