oil temp

I have a gehl 6640 skidsteer. I lost all activity on the temp guage. Called dealer and they suggested changing sending unit. I did and no change. They suggested checking wiring between sending unit and guage. It checked out. They suggested changing guage. I did and no change. They say all that was left was thermostat. Changed it and no change. So the short of it is I have spent 250.00 on parts and still have no guage activity. Looking for any suggestions. Thanks

Do you have 12V at the gauge? I believe all gauges have three wires, ground, +12v and sense from the sender. If all wires are connected and have good connections, there is no reason why it shouldn't work.
I'd suspect a bad ground somewhere.
