Hello from Australia. I brought a Dec 1988 model 743 to do some work on my property. I am fairly mechanically minded but may have some questions as I get familiar with this machine. Please bear with me. I have downloaded all the manuals already, they have helped allot. Being a 22+ year old machine I expected to fix a few things. It only had 2986 hours on it, I assume they are correct since the hour metre still works. The motor seems excellent, and the hydraulics all work. The hydrostatic wines abit. There are 3 hydraulic leaks that I can see, one might be in the control block, which from what I have read is normal. So far I have fixed the temp gauge, checked the radiator to make sure it is clear for air flow, almost fixed the fuel gauge, will replace the seat. The front end needs some bushes, pins seem ok, but over all the machine does seem in good nic, but has done some work since the bucket is worn.
