New S650 and older off brand attachments

Got a S650 and a old planner changed it from a 5 hose to a 3 hose hooked everything up. Machine is equipped with a 14 pin harness and a controller (black box) all functions work except for side shift, it is hooked up to the left paddle switch on left joy stick. You push paddle to the right it will slide to the right. But when you push paddle to the left drum will stop and engine pulls down like hydraulics are dead heading and slide shift doesn't move. I am getting voltage in all the right places. Almost acts like machine is not seeing front attachment and kicking on rear hydraulics. any help.

don't the new machines have a screen where you choose the attachment? maybe try changing the settings that way
