New member here , new problem. I have a 2003 LS 160 , 500 hrs. Homeowner use , never used hard. I have a Hyd. filter alarm , I changed the filter and ran it for 10 minutes and the alarm returned. The oil can't be that dirty and it isn't. Which part in the filter housing is causing this? Thanks for the knowledge I've learned from this site.

You need to verify its a filter alarm and not charge pressure causing the issue. Do you have a service manual with a chart for the cause of the alarms.

Sir, Thanks for the tip , I had mis-read the alarm . It is charge pressure . First mistake of many today. So, I have a hyd. pressure issue now?

Can't remember exactly but I think the charge pressure sensor is on the bottom of the pump assembly and prone to wiring issues or failure. Like I said I can't remember hopefully somebody with recent experience will weigh in. I do know some people reported this as a common problem.
