My machine is running fine. I went looking for a a leak. When I removed the seat I found about 18 inches of fuel line attached to the top of the tank (on my left, facing the machine from in front) with a brass fitting. The other end of this fuel line was not attached to anything and had a drop of fuel on the end. I could not find a place to attach it (it was a little dark though.) A friend said it might be a vent line and maybe it is supposed to be tied in a loop as he has seen on 4-wheelers and snow machines. The online parts catalog is not detailed but might indicate it is supposed to attached to the top of the tank on the other side of the machine. Any thoughts?

There is a fitting on the other side, right side, of the tank which the hose attaches to. This hose vents the left side of tank so it will fill when you fuel the loader up. Look straight across from the fitting you see and you should find it. Attaching the hose may not be as easy though, you may need to lower the tank some to install it.

Well Thank You Mike10. I found it. I looked four times. It was only when I got really serious and did a headstand in the cab that I actually saw where the hose attaches. Groan. I am hoping I can reach back there with a long screwdriver to tighten a hose clamp on the thing. First I'll have to find one.

Just thinking out loud, but you may want to try to pickup on the hex of the hose clamp screw with a socket, rather than the slot; less chance of slipping off the screw or unintentionally rotating the clamp.
