I have the chance to buy a nice low hour L175 is there any known issues with them and what are things to look out for when I look it over this weekend? I see from the pictures it is a turbo charged machine I believe it is a 2008 model.

I believe this has the shibaura engine, i have heard a myriad of things from electrical to engine but have never first hand experienced these skids befor, but above all else you need to post this on the Mew Holland forum, don't worry i did the exact same thing about a week ago !

We bought a 2010 L185 last January with 1300 hours and it's turned out to be a great machine. I later changed all fluids, filters, etc, and the only actual repair I've done was replace the door micro switch which failed and prevented the bucket hydraulics from working. A buddy came by 2 days ago for me to pay him for a gravel job and he mentioned that NH skidsteers are a real quality machine. He's a lifelong paver/dirt guy. By being on this site, it appears all the skidsteers have a huge variety of engines, mine is a 4 cyl. FPT (Fiat) turboed diesel and so far runs very well, no leaks anywhere. Hope yours turns out well too.

Forgot, I DID replace the big curved door glass/windshield due to pits and scratches. I was scared to price one, figuring $600+/- and was surprised that a nice tinted one was only $160 out of TX off Ebay.

I went and bought the machine yesterday seems like a nice unit everything is still tight the kid who owned it threw in a nice new set of walk through pallet forks in with it. He said the machine was starting to act like it needed a new fuel filter so it was changed and didn't help so he had to replace the lift pump glad it was done before I had the machine. I'm pretty happy with it so far.
