I bought two 2014 John Deere 27d machines July 2015. I replaced two Bobcat 425 minis. The 27d is a great machine. I owned a 27zts years ago. We have a 26G on demo now. It is a dog. They dropped the hp from 26 in the 27d to 20 hp in this 26G. My customers are disappointed. They are only digging 3-4 ft deep. I can't imagine trying to dig the full 8ft 6 inches that they claim. Love Deere excavators but the 26g is not for me. Your mileage may vary.

Except for the fact that John Deere doesn't make any excavators!! They buy them from Hitachi and other companies then re-market them. I used to haul them for Warren transport.

Good morning. I have a 2015 26G in need of some tracks. Size is 300 X 52.5N X 80. Can anyone tell me what the "N" stands for? When ever I search online I get the same numbers but no "N". Just wanting to make sure it doesn't stand for a narrow drive sprocket or something. I'm just an individual with a "toy" to play with! Don't want to order the wrong track! Thanks in advance!
