need new quick attach on L553. What the best solution? Upgrade to BOBCAT?

My old L553 has been buggered with and the quick attach now has welded on tabs you actually bolt the bucket on. If i was going to replace this does it make sense to switch up to the more universal type QA? Has anyone made on? Thanks Scott

Apparently that's a fairly common upgrade for the 555's and 553's. Messicks parts look up site shows they have 4 in stock. Part number 9863084

Did you see the price for that irwin? Thats 1/3 of the cost of my l555. I've seen after markets for around $700. Still too much for me.

Oh yes, it's pricy alright.. but I haven't seen any aftermarket SSQA couplers with a single curl cylinder yet. I got lucky, a previous owner upgraded my L555. It's a beefy thing too, much more so than the ATI TachAll on my Kubota L35. Don't get me wrong the TachAll is plenty tough. http://www.preseeder.com/tach-all/
