Hi, I am looking at purchasing one it has high hours but looks to be well taken care of. Is there anything I need to be cautious about? Thanks in advance

The main thing to check is wear and if the engine starts easily when stone cold. If its warm it tells you nothing about its condition. Look for smoke when its loaded down. Drive the machine up to an un-movable object like a large tree and push. You should be able to get all four wheels to spin.

It sat for over a couple weeks and fired right up I drove into a pile of sand and spun the tires. This thing has app. 3900 hrs but looks like only 1500 hrs. I need a big machine and it is priced at $12,500.

Thats exactly how you want it to run.
As for hours, the engine should do at least 6,000 hours, the hydraulics should do at least twice that, if not more with propper care.
