Mustang 2040 drive motor removal

Unable to get sproket off drive motor shaft. Have cotter key and nut off, also released chain tension. Hope someone knows how to remove this item. Need to have motor rebuilt, it leaks. Thanks for any help you can offer.

it will most likely need to be pressed off with a hydraulic press.

You might be able to get it with a crows foot, or two and just pry on it. If you have a bearing puller, that might work too, if you can get it behind the sprocket.

does the motor not come out with the sprocket still attached??
