Both sides of my MT52 have the track tensioners frozen. I cut one track off so I could heat it, beat, it, oil, it, etc. and I cannot get the tensioner to move in or out. It has heavy rust, but I have put such much effort in this thing that it should have loosened by now. The spring adjustment bolt loosened easily, and there is no pressure on the spring. Any ideas how to get these loose so that they slide? Thank you.

With the track off put as much pressure on the tensioner as possible and try to hammer on track frame and try to push it out.

I have pounded, heated, and soaked in penetrating oil for over a week without moving it in or out a mm. I cut the old track off, have a 4' cheater pipe on the strongarm, and the tensioner bolt as tight as my 280 pounds can get it.
