Mike, the lift capacity of your loader is all but irrelevant. You don't need the loader to lift the backhoe, in fact you'd be better off if you didn't lift the backhoe. The backhoe itself will do all the heavy lifting, the lift arms on the loader will remain stationary. In fact, Thomas supplies steel plates to be placed over the lift arm cylinders to prevent the lift arms from "lifting" the backhoe.

In addition... my T133 has a lift capacity of 1200 lbs. and it runs my BH108 perfectly fine.
Thanks for chiming in ! Still have to move it from place to place on rough terrain such right ?

Moving is no problem. I move mine all the time. The only setback is that the loader becomes noticeably front heavy with the backhoe attached. No big deal as the stabilizing feet on the BH108 are never more than 6" off the ground when moving. The worst that can happen is you may dig up some grass along the way when the feet contact the ground over bumps.

Also, don't go thinking that you can lift a backhoe attachment a few feet off the ground for traveling across terrain. You never want to lift a backhoe attachment more than a few inches, a foot at most. Backhoes are very heavy, at least any backhoe that can do some serious digging like the BH108 can. The loader will become dangerously unsteady if you like the backhoe more than a foot. Of course, if you're using a little toy backhoe, it will be much easier to attach/detach and move around but much less effective at digging.

Positive input Thanks , I'm rethinking this Thanks .

My BH108 is no prize to look at, but it digs holes and trenches with ease.
I'll look for some pictures worth posting.

Looking for and found a BH attachment BH 108 that looks pretty good in pictures but he want $3000 and my machine is more of a hobby than a working tool so hard for me to justify that price . Comments ?
Well I finally got the new to me BH108 home . I'm quite pleased as I bought it sight unseen . Yet to try it out as my machine is another two hours away from home the weather isn't conducive to trying it out for the first time yet
