Does anyone know where to find a muffler for a M700? Part # 6541298
I have done my due diligence, and cannot find a dealer that has one.
Many Thanks. In advance.

You may have to make one yourself. I used to have a link to a guy that showed how to make one out of stainless.

Your other option is to take the old one to a muffler shop and see if they have something that could be retrofitted.

I have a 642 and like yours, no muffler is available. Had to make my own out of exhaust pipe from auto zone. You can use flex pipe, but it is only good for a couple years. I piped it up and put a tractor muffler on it. I just need to remember to remove it when I lift the cab.

How did you attach it to the manifold? I have a Wisconsin 4 cylinder. With the updraft carb on it. For some reason it will not allow me to attach a picture.

I was lucky that there was still a stub on the manifold that was not rotted through, so I used what was left and connected another pipe to it. If it would have been gone, I would have taken a piece of plate, cut a hose in it and welded a new stub on it.

Here is what I came up with for the muffler. It took some fabricating. But I am pleased with the results.

I also mounted the fuel tank up above. As the other tank was cracked. This also allows me to delete the fuel pump. And add in a fuel/water separator. With a fuel shut off.
