I pulled the starter on this 865 last owner said this is the second starter in a short period....
main reason he sold it... Fed up.
anyway, it DID look new... until I opened it up. Complete carnage..
So I'm thinking..... If the RELAY on the firewall sticks and continues to send power to the solenoid trigger wire.... The starter will continue to spin AFTER the engine starts...
Probably can't hear it when the machines running....
anyway, I got a new starter coming from DB electric.... and I was thinking of wiring a Heavy duty relay instead of the stock replacement.
Your thoughts?
