Does anyone know where in the control valve the load check(s) are for a 96 LX865? Boom leaks down and I want to check them for blown o-ring and it looks like from the print there are a few of them in the block. I have pressure washed the block etc and would like to check them without removing the whole control valve. thanks in advance for any help. Mike

Just curious where you got the print of the control block.I would like one for myself. sorry I cant help with your question.I understand your not wanting to take all the hydraulic lines loose. And only wanting to replace the bad parts. when you buy the parts for the control block I would be expect they only sell a kit for the whole thing.I would do the whole thing. If you have room maybe you can pull the sections appart one at a time until you find the bad one. Tazza and Ken / Skidsteer California are both good with hydraulics. If you identify your control block brand/model number it may help you getting advise.Sorry Im not more help. There arent a lot of new holland members here. Mike

About 6 years ago my dealer's mechanic....errr...technician, showed me the control valve in an LS180. He said they were known for going bad. Replacement was about $1000. You should be able to take it to a reputable hydraulics shop and have them rebuild it---if that's the problem--- and test the load checks. As far as I can remember the load checks are screw in style (but it could be the reliefs I'm thinking of)
