Was running my skid loader and then all of a sudden, the boom and bucket were locked up. Looked at the EIC and it shows LOC__. Got the dealer code to unlock the boom and tried that but EIC still reads the same. Installed new seat belt assy, no change. Have 12.8V at seat. When get in skid loader, EIC goes through its light check then comes back with the LOC__. Skid loader will start and run and move, but no boom or bucket. Run/Service switch is in the run position. Same behavior if I try the Service position. This is the older silver eic. Any ideas what might be going on? The manual I downloaded does not have the complete wiring diagram. Anybody have a copy they could scan and send to me? Thanks Kevin

Following up: The capacitor was broke off the back of the eic board. Repaired that, tried the unlock code, still behaved the same. After checking out the rest of the wiring on the skid loader (and finding past sins of the previous owners on the lighting circuit) I was convinced it had to be the eic. So in a last ditch effort, I started plugging in unlock codes starting with 01 to see if somehow that would help. Bottom line, finally got it unlocked. The code from the dealer was incorrect, it was off by one. Everything is working now, so as long as my repair job holds (resoldering the capacitor and epoxying it to the board), I should be ok. Now just have to get a new fuse block and redo the lighting wiring and I should be good to go.

Glad to hear you got it fixed. The electronics on these machines are way beyond my scope of knowledge. "sparks and magic" just aint my game.
