LX 865 ?'s

OK I just bought a nice used LX 865 , 1500 hrs , new motor installed at 1,000 hrs by dealer that sold it new? I am wandering if anyone had any opinions/ suggestions on this machine, w the good the bad and the what to look out for, or PM's to do? this is my first skid steer, so I am new to these machines! thanks in advance

As you won't know what what was done befre you bought the machine, I'd start by changing the oil and filters. Also coolant, then you know where you are at. Possibly do the chain case too.
I don't know what the specs are for NH machines on times to change fluids, bobcat say 250 hours for engine oil and 1,000 for chain case and hydraulic oil.

thanks, I am in the process of finding out what a 500 hr service is, and doing that, based on , you just never know what was or wasn't done and that should cover most things Old owner told me he had his local NH dealership do all PM's, based on there opinion on WHEN to do them I greased every fitting I could find, BUt still not sure I got them all looking for a operators manual or?? to show me where all are and what not's NO rush to use it, so, will have time to get it up to a as clean slate as I can on maintenance Pm's before doing any work! better safe than sorry LOl but am open to any suggestions or advice on what to do, check, inspect, make sure its???? so, please feel free to add any info you think could help a new guy out to skid steers!
