Nevertheless, I've checked or replaced all the relays in the main fuse box. I don't see a diode on mine... Tazza, thanks, but I called my dealer and the tech said that a bad fuel shut down solenoid would cause it to also not run in service mode. I checked an online parts break down and that solenoid appears to be on the fuel injection pump. It is on the outside towards the bottom of the pump with a wire going to it, right? I checked it with my test light with the key in run and starting in both normal and service mode and it has no power going to it. I removed the wire and no change... At the recommendation of the service tech, I also locked out the aux hydraulics at the handle, that made no change. He said that's the only other possibility, aside from fuses, relays, and bad wires! (Great)... I have a tech coming out tomorrow (suposedly), but with the 3 hour drive he'll have just to get here I'm sure it will be VERY expensive!..... To me it's really acting like its not getting fuel (but only normal mode, because it starts right up in service mode), but I can come up with no explanation for it.
