Sorry to hit you with a problem in my first post, but I've searched through your threads and can't find anything that matches my machine's glitch. I recently bought an LS 170 for around my acreage. It runs perfectly, from what I can tell, and has a sweet motor, but hydraulic oil has been building up in the pan and therefore dropping in the reservoir. Using a mirror and a torch, I tracked in down to seepage from between the left and right drive hydro pumps with the drive lever (only tried left) fully forward or reversed. My question is, is it possibly just the gasket between the pumps, or is it a sign of a larger problem, such as excessive pressure? As I said, the machine runs well. Thanks.
