Lift/Tilt Not Returning to Center

I currently run two bungee cords to keep my lift T bar centered. Can anyone confirm if changing the centering spring inside the control valve will fix this issue? My fear is that the spring inside is good, and I am missing a linkage spring somewhere. I would rather not dig into the control valve, but I need to fix this so I can drink my beer while getting place to place without the bucket falling due to the rocky roads. Thanks in advance.

I don't see any supplementary centering mechanism in the exploded view, so it looks like the spring in the valve is it. May want to make sure that your linkage is all in good shape and moves freely.
I would hate to see you spill your beer!!

Thanks for the input. Linkage moves too freely. I already have the spring, but as I said opening a working control valve is not on the top of my list. I will be adding a power beyond sleeve for my aux setup soon, so this would be a prime time to change the spring. I will update when I decide to do it.

Update: I got around to this finally, and it was one of the easiest fixes I have done. The back of the main control valve has a cover, a screw, and your inside. Found and removed my broken spring, threw in the new one and put it back together. New machine, before this thing wobbled all over, now it is tight and seriously changed the ease of work. Plus as I stated earlier I can now drive place to place with one hand free.
