I have an F model 753. Recently tore it down to repair crack in lower frame. All worked fine. When i re assembled it the lift arms and bucket would not move. BICS code says grounded circuit or no ground on the lift arm lockout. Replaced lockout solenoid coil, inspected valve was working properly, checked and cleaned all ground i could find, tested for continuity and power at harness plug and checked secure connection at all connectors. I even tried unhooking the battery for a while to hopefully "reset" the BICS. Still nothing. Machine drives around fine just no lift arm or bucket operation. Any help would be appreciated.

If you still have a seat switch, buy the kit and get rid of it. Kit comes with a new BICS controller. That will kill to possibilities with one stone. Even if that doesn't solve your problem, once it is working again you will be happy the seat switch is gone. If that doesn't fix it, probably a wiring problem. I have had a number of times that replacing the harness was the only option. The wires may show good with a meter, but the problem is still in the wiring. BICS can be very picky.

I just replaced all wiring harnesses except the one that the lockout solenoid hooks into within the last couple months due to fire (funny how quickly hyd. oil will ignite when grinding). the BICS keeps giving me the 3 flashes on the light corresponding with the hyd lockout. Tested/inspected the harness that the solenoid hooks into and can't find any issues with it. Guess i'll have to try replacing it. I'm stumped because everything was working fine before dis-assembly. Thanks for the info

Replaced wiring harness going from cab to hydraulic lockout valve. That seems to have fixed the problem. All tested good in the old harness but obviously there was something wrong I didn't see. Thanks for the advice about the BICS being picky sometimes. If I have any more problems of the such I am going to go with the BICS update you suggested.

Glad it's fixed, shame it took a few harnesses to do it though, they aren't cheap as you now know.....
