L555 Serial Number

Hello to everybody I am the newbie today. I enjoy older construction equipment. I have just purchased another project. It is a L555 serial # 627722. Can any of you tell me what year this serial number was mfg? It has a Perkins engine in it. I have already enjoyed reading many of the listing in this forum. Thanks

Only NH can tell you when a unit serial number went into service. No idea how many years this goes back though.

Cant nail it down to the year but it gonna land between 1987 and 1989. Give Messicks a call, they can give ya the exact year!

Just looked, mines in the 700,000 serial number range so its 88 or earlier.

FYI, Messicks said it was Mfg. March 21, 1986
