My brother has a new holland L555 and was wanting to flush the hydraulic system. Does anyone have a good idea on how to do that? Thanks for the Help!!
Ok but it will still have a pressure line coming from the hyd pump.I forgot to add it does not have aux. to use either.
Thanks for the help Ken much appreciated! Brent.Ok but it will still have a pressure line coming from the hyd pump.
Lift the loader and curl up the bucket. stop the engine and let gravity lower the boom and bucket to get as much oil back to the reservoir as possible. The pull the plug on the hyd tank or remove a pressure hose and pump it out.
This will get rid of 80% to 90 % of the old oil. Don' t foget new filter(s) If your eally fussy you can add some oil run it a bit they go through the drain procedure again. Also you can open up many of the hose to get a few more% buts it alot of trouble for a small gain.
