I have an older model New Holland l35 with I believe the Vickers transmission. When I first received the machine everything worked pretty okay. The left side started to Rattle a little bit and would stall out if I pulled it too far left. The rattle got a little worse and then quit turning left altogether. I took the cover off to expose the drive chain and Gears on the left side. The pinion coming off of the transmission shaft seems to be missing a bolt I was able to slide the pinion right off. I put the pinion back on in replace the bolt but it doesn't seem like it's going far enough in to engage the main drive gear. I started the machine up tried to turn left and it worked for a second but you could see where the pinion isn't fully engaging the other gear and is just spinning. I can't seem to get the opinion lined up right with the main drive gear. I'm kind of stuck at this point.
