Little late to reply, but for others' info, my NH 185 has two large terminals, lower left that can be accessed and used to jump the battery after opening the back radiator grille. Don't know how many years or models had this feature. This is what I did on mine different model but boom still has to be u[. I took the bucket off the skid steer and them used my tractor and loader to raise the boom on the skid steer. Now you have to have someone in the skid steer to hold the boom control in the up position or you will just raise the skid steer. Once you get it up past the boom locks you are set to go. Good luck and be safe
Sorry, just saw OP has a starter problem, not a battery problem.Little late to reply, but for others' info, my NH 185 has two large terminals, lower left that can be accessed and used to jump the battery after opening the back radiator grille. Don't know how many years or models had this feature.
