Hey guys, little Brother started a new logging job today. We have hired another loggers crew while he's on vacation, they cut & skid. We do all the yard work. In the deal they use our skidder, we use their grapple & cut off saw. We are having a little learning curve on it. the jib lever is backwards from my backhoe and it's like myself, use a little to much when it was new. A little slack here & there. I'll let you know when I can open a bottle of beer with it. Rain, rain & more rain here this year. later dennis

The backwards valve situation is the curse of boom machines everywhere. Over the years my father and I have had 4 barko 40 and the 200 serco. Those old Barkos seemed like every one was valved differently. If it just one function you can switch the hoses to change the direction but other then that you live with it or get off it. Sometimes being a greenhorn is a advantage over trying to run something that is backwards to what you know.
