John Deere 240 park brake/ lock out solenoid issues

The park brake will not disengage on my 240, the switch has been replaced but didnt make a difference. The seat belt indicator light wasnt turning on, but now when you sit down and put the belt on, the light will light up. However when you press the unlock button on the park brake switch, the light turns off again and the park brake will not disengage. Without the park brake disengaging, the lock out solenoids on the pedals will not allow the pedals to be move, making the machine useless, unless i override the solenoids. What could be causing the park brake to not turn off?

Hello, My JD 240 just got the exact issues as your machine. Seatbelt indicator turns off when toggled off, but the parking brake (and its dash indicator)won't disengage. Did you ever find the root cause? Some forums say bad ground; some say control panel was upgraded to newer design, most say bad seat pressure switch or seatbelt switch. I am stuck in the middle of a field with no way to get going. Please reply. thanks in advance.
