jd 317 engine cuts out

What could be causing the engine to stall and the parking brake to engage all of a sudden? This doesn't happen every day, and I can restart with no problem, but it happens enough to be more than just an inconvenience. It's not the seat sensor, I know that. Anyone have a similar problem?

How about the seat bar sensor?
The park brack will engage if it detects you are not in the seat or getting ready to leave the cab by lifting the seat bar. The park brake will engage and that could easily stall the engine when it engages and you try and move.
I assume you have isolated the seat switch?
Also, bad wiring could cause it too.
