I have a JCB 270T with AC issues. It is worse when I am running high flow and mulching but even when doing dirt work or driveways after a while the AC doesn't cool very well. Today here in Texas it was upper 90's F with heat index 104F due to high humidity. Once the hydraulics get hot along with everything else the AC is blowing 82-84F at the vents and temp in cab 104-106F. If I idle down for a few minutes it will begin to blow cooler air but not cold. I've spoke with the dealer several times but don't seem to make any headway on this. Any of you guys have issues like this with your machines?

I believe that the a/c unit in pretty much all skid steers and maybe most heavy equipment are designed to change inside temps of machine 20 degrees F from the outside temps. This is just what I have read. And my 2017 sw-20 Wacker Nueson skid steer reflects that being true. so park it in the shade when you can. Of course keep your a/c coils and filters clean so it can work as best as it can.

It could be a few things, i'd like to think you would get more than a 20 degree F difference.
It could be that your system is leaking a little, if there isn't enough refrigerant, it is not liquid when it goes through your evaporator. It could also be that the condensor isn't cooling the refrigerant enough to turn it back to a liquid, causing the same issue at the evaporator. As you said when not working hard, it gets cool, you have heat from the radiator and oil cooler that could be warming the condensor coil, making it not work as well.
Another test could be to have it running, if you have access to a hose, spray the condensor and radiator with water and see if your ac gets colder.
AC systems can be a pain in the butt, there are multiple parts to them that can all cause it not to cool as well.
