Hello all, I'm new to this site, and this is my first post, thks for looking. I just purchased a 8875. Has a few issues, but I'm working through them. By the way, this is my first skid steer. The machine has no hydraulics to the boom and bucket. The solenoid's are getting power and click when repluging them. I checked for pressure at the filter and boom cylinder and last , the HIGH pressure line where it connects to the 3spool control valve. Not sure of the amount of pressure required but, when the line is disconnected and the motor is started, there is NOTHING flowing out of it. My questions are: 1) is there ANY thing electrical that will allow this to happen? 2) Does this pump have constant drive from the HYDROSTATIC pump?? One last question, The dip stick between the HYDROSTATIC pumps shows the level, more then twice the normal. Could the hydraulic pump be leaking into this reservior?? Once running correctly, I will put the level to normal and keep a eye on it....THKS to all of you...John

There should be a cupler to the main drive pump, when it's running, there should be oil coming out of that hose to the control block. It sounds like the shaft has broken.

Check the pump too, the shaft shouldn't just break. I know the older vane pumps wore and a vane could come out and jam the pump up, breaking the shaft. Best to find out why it broke before putting a new shaft in and having it break too.
Glad it was so simple.
