Hydraulic hand pump circuit tester

Simple question I was at a government auction and they have a Hydraulic hand pump circuit tester on the floor for bids, my question being would this be a valuable tool for us Skidsteer & Dump Truck owners? It was declined in last auction there was only a $21 bid on it I am sure I'd be able to get it for $50 can some one tell me if it would be a good buy and if so why. Cal

The only thing you could check with it would be pressure of your system. I guess you *could* test cylinders with it too. Hook it up to one side, pump it up and read the pressure and see if it drops. If it drops you know the piston seal is not holding and in need of replacing. There are other tests you can perform to work this out anyway.
Personally, i don't see it being useful. I think i have checked aux pressure once in about 9 machines i have owned/repaired.
