Okay guys, I just put LHM 32 hydraulic fluid into my diesel tank by accident. For some reason, I thought it was the hydraulic tank and poured about 2 gallons of it into a 1/2 filled tank filled with diesel. I realized it was the diesel tank when I couldn't find the glass fluid level hole. Should I try pumping it out or just mix it up with the diesel and try starting? Can I even use that type of fluid in my machine?

i would think i would just pump it out. you havent run it right? if it was just a little i'd say fill the tank and it would dilute but that would be a little thick i think.

No haven't run it. I'll probably try pump most of it out and then whatever is left just dilute it. Its a Sinopec L-HM 32 fluid.

I'd like to think 2 gallons in a full tank would be fine. I have run old filtered cooking oil in my machine without issues (it smells like fish and chips).
If you are worried, drain all you can then top off with fresh fuel, i see no damage occurring from it.

Yea I took it all out because after trying to get most of it out and starting, the machine still died, maybe because I didn't really mix it up and so it sucked up the oil that was at the bottom but oh well the fuel was still pretty old so I just took it out and refilled with fresh diesel.
