My fuel pickup tube broke off in the fuel tank today and the dealers in my area are closed until Monday. I need to use the machine over the weekend. I have a extra screen from the last time I replaced the tube I can reuse. Does anyone know the length of the fuel pickup hose?

stick something like a straightened out clothes hanger into the hole the pickup tube goes into and touch the bottom of the tank and mark it , make it one inch shorter and you will be ok

That would be extremely difficult to make happen. I can barely see the hole that I pulled the fuel pickup grommet out of from the side cover. The hydrostatoc drive is positioned directly above it, so trying to measure the fuel tank depth by sticking something down the hole won't work. Thank you for your input though.

I know it's hard to get at as I have done the pick up tube on Bobcat 843, 853, 863 , 864 , 873 many times , you can get the new tube in there , so you would have to be able to get something in there to measure it's depth , you don't have to see the hole to put something in it , in fact it should be easier than actually putting in the new tube , I would poke the rod around till it fell into the hole , reach down with my hand and pinch the rod at the tanks top , 1" shorter , the bobcat dealers are closed around here, open 1/2 day Saturday , call 504 466 5495 after 7:00 tomorrow morning and they will tell you how long it is
