how do I delete a post made in the wrong place?

Depends. If you set it in concrete, best practice may be to use the skid steer. If it is a steel post, you might wrap a chain around it and then leverage it out using the tilt function. If hollow pipe, and you don't want to keep it, possibly cut a "birds mouth" in the bottom of the pipe and again, leverage out.

May want to use a shovel to loosen some of the soil sound the base before removing.
