How Do I Change Aux. Hyd. Couplings On Bobcat 763 - F ?

Hi, I just bought a Bobcat 763-F last month and I'm new to this forum. One of the Aux. Hydraulic couplers on the front of the machine has a steady drip - so I bought a new pair. My question is - aside from releasing the hyd. pressure when I turn the engine off ( by turning the key switch to the left )- is the any thing else I need to do so I don't loose and excessive amount of Hydraulic fluid when I unscrew the coupling ? Thought I'd ask some advise before I got soaked ! Thanks

As long as the engine isn't running, you won't loose heaps of fluid, it will trickle out but you can't stop it.

I've changed out a few, and I don't think I lost much fluid. Just be ready to either plug the opening or have the new one ready to put on immediately. I suppose lifting the arms up to a little above horizontal would help (assuming you blocked them up for safety!), but I never went to that much effort. And welcome to the forum! ---Bobbie-G
