Its need repainted sn plate missing brought it from grays online auctionMy first guess is 743, my second guess is 733. There should be a S/N plate riveted to the chassis, either in the operators area, or on the frame near the boom pivots. That would seal it.
If the s/n plate is missing, that is a whole other kettle of fish...

It looked like it cought on fire then repaired and repainted all the electrics are rewired

Hmmm - so easy to mask off, or just smear with some grease...It was removed when they repainted the dam thing
Looking at the Bobcat parts catalog, that engine does not look like a Kubota V-1702 either... Maybe their illustrations are poor??If it is a 743, the alternator is on the opposite side of what I am used to seeing.
