I have a 763 bobcat and i replaced my alternator yesterday because it was not charging correctly. I also went ahead and did a full service. Oil change, hydro fluid and filter change and fuel filter change. Machine ran great after I serviced it and replaced the alternator and it was charging correctly. Today I went to start my machine to use it and it fired right up but I can't use my hydraulics because the bics has no power. The machine
runs and is charging correctly. Both My positive and negative terminals are clean and tight. My fuses are all good none are blown and my connectors are all connected. I took my bics off to my sure it was connected and it is. I have learned that if I disconnect my negative terminal then re-connect it my bics will light up and work until I press the operate button. Then it goes out. Then after I turn the key off and back on it has no power unless I disconnect and connect my battery then it does the same thing has power until I press the operate button then no power.
Any thoughts? Is it possible the bics is going bad??

I've waited about an hour and now the machine magically is working correctly and the bics is doing what it's supposed to? Still makes me concerned that if I bring it on a job site it's going to do this again.
Any thoughts on what could be going on? I'm thinking the BICS is on its way out. It's never done this to me before. If I need to replace the computer I will but it's not cheap. Around $700.00

I'm not familiar with the newer machines (743 here) but since it started after you replaced the alternator, I would try loosening, then re-torquing the fasteners on the alternator. If one is not quite-quite, that might? be the problem, since its intermittent. Also be sure your bolts holding the alternator are good and tight, maybe there's a ground issue.
These are the only things I can think of, but I know there's lots of guys here with your machine probably have better ones. Good luck!

First i suggest to check again those connections you opened last time, also check alternator, belt tensity, (not more than 10 mm),
If there is everything ok, then is possibility that you have one bad wire - sometimes is connection, sometimes not. I have had this kind
"bad wire" problem with 763, 130, 300... Regarding fuses - if you check them - pull them out and check carefully, there might be some trickster fuse as well. Same with relays.

I just priced one here in Australia and it's around $1050 Oz pesos. 🤦‍♂️ I fear mine is also going down, played up a couple of times hours prior but re-slamming the safety bar had me going again……. until it didn't. Luckily I was still at home as I was about to drive it 4 kilometres down the road to my son's house. The next day I managed to hot wire to release the brakes so I could drive it into my shed. Thinking it was the hall sensor switch on the safety bar I went ahead and replaced all components for $275, but to no avail. 😠 I can unplug the connector at BICS, send 12v down brake and hydraulic lockout solenoid circuits and they both do as supposed to. All green lights will light up on BICS when plugged in except the brakes light but I still can't operate hydraulics though even with a green light on. I'm thinking it's got be the module itself. I believe in the states there are peeps that repair them for a fraction of the cost as they're able to be dissembled, I don't think that's an option in Oz. 🤔🤷‍♂️

If the light are on but you can`t move machine or hydraulic - then i`d check the solenoids or the wiring-probably some of them are going bad or broken. If the light are sometimes on and sometimes not - just check the wiring of the senders (door lock if it`s connected or safety bar) or senders- Something would be wrong with them.
