glow plug timining e series doosan heavy

cold start issues. let it be said that this unit just went thru a batt draw issue . has been jumped started etc. (so you know radio was causing batt draw resulting in no start every two days) that problem repaired by unplug radio and replace batt. as to what damage has been done by low volt hi amp draw. is still up in the air. ( current issue is glow plug timining) so saw neg 1 on dash display in my truck on way to work. (good time to test the e85) test light to glow plug turn to preheat lights for about a second. goes off dash comes alive GLOW INDACTIOR does not light up. . while crank glow does receive pwr. TO BE CLEAR NEG 1 DEGREES TEST LIGHT ON GLOW PLUGS TURN KEY TO PRHEAT APROX 1 SECOND LIGHTS UP 1second goes out does come on in crank position. now tried it again at 38 F same same. MY question is glow plug timer (as stated in Doosan hand out controlled by eng coolant temp sender( temp guage workin fine) or ecu or vcu. if you look in Doosan hand out it explictys states glow plug configuration. MY question being can it be changed at panelels thru operator input .? did it get changed when panelles dummied out due to low batt volts, and how can I fix it / THIS IS GOING TO HAVE TO COME FROM BOOTS ON THE GROUND ITS REALLLY CLEAR THAT THAT IS A MAJOR DISSRUPTION IN OUR LINE OF COMMUNACTION. don't count on factory help it aint there as evindanced by the radio thing( it gonnabe up yo us to figure this out

I hate to pull it out but I do request tech help in this doosan heavy . factory support is next to nill. as in none im not the avg joe blow askin how do I reseal my control valve. I am a highly trained highyly motived tech with 17 yrs as a bobcat tech 9 a case tech (recived master tech award) 3yrs with JD. 2 with toyata forklift not proud of that but did learn elontrics as in zenerediode etc. so what im looking for is a off the the grid dissection of our current issues withoutthe pwr to be getting involved, you can betyoure ass that they see this stuff, as a matter of fact it has been mentioned from our muchhed missed distc svc mang mk that they look here . so don't post freely but on the otjher hand sometimes they need their heads banged against the wall

As you have already stated, the timer works with the coolant temperature sender, when warm it does not engage the plugs, but when cold it does. It's not something to do with the sender?
With the power draw from the radio, i'd never have thought it would kill the computer, the line it would be using would be the switched power, not a line coming from the computer.... Yet the jump starts could have been an issue with spikes, but i'd like to think it was built strong enough to handle that.

SO HERE IT STANDS. glow plug timinig is correct as per published glow time = temp table. ( my opnion a little short, 5 seconds at 26 F.) seems well a little short. just the same that's what it is. so in order to put this baby to bed once and for all. tried to start in 26 f glowed twice, no joy, bypassed batt disconnect switch. (put all cables on one lug) fired right up . let it all get cold ohm check switch .006 0n 20 k scale. tried again no joy replaced switch with new oem no updates that's anyone is aware of. fired right up. CONCLUSION. current batt disconnect switch degradining over time . unable to carry full load. yes it will ohm check yes it will volt check, but as we know a restriction to flow (im a hyd guy) will slow things down a bit. so yea replacining the batt disconnect switch took care of the cold start... but I cant help but to reflect on batt draw issue caused by the radio. (THIS IS CONFIRMED THIS WAS THE DRAW) cause and effect. seen hi amp draw (as in low batt voltage smoking controllers) would love to hear from some elect gurus to see if my theary makes sense. pardon the misspellings train of thought needs to stay on track you get the jist. ? what effect does low batt volt?/ hi amp draw have on elect components. real world it smokes em. any science to back that up up.
