Gehl 5625sx issues

So I know I have a fuel tank leak, so I'll be disconnecting the lift arms at their hinges & any hydraulic lines that HAVE to be undone to pull the lift arms up out of the way to clear the fuel tank & pull it up to repair, but additionally I can not get anything out of it turning the key. Where's the best place to access ignition killing from the "safety features" so I won't have the continued problems they cause? I tried shunting across the seat base connector, and still have to move around on the seat to get it to allow starting, and I'm not sure there may be corrosion on the safety gate switches keeping them from working.
