I have a 2018 Cat 299D3 EX Land management skid steer with the duel exterior tanks. I have two problems, even asking the Cat tech line doesn't help. The first problem is the warning code that comes up and says "Extreme fuel leak". That one seems to be fixed by cleaning the extra in-line see thru filters I added right out of each fuel tank. The other problem is when I have the cut-off flow valve open from both tanks open, the driver (left) side tank seems to build up pressure and over flow. If I turn off the right side tank, it works fine. When it gets low on fuel, I open the right side tank and it continues to work properly. I can't figure out why the left tank will over-flow fuel out of it when both tanks are open and full of fuel. Has anyone else had similar issues and what's the fix? Just to know, I have drained and cleaned both tanks, added a pair of clear glass style filters to each line feeding each tank, and replace the fuel filters fairly often. Also tried a new fuel rail pressure sensor. The warning code doesn't seem to be an often problem but the over-flow problem is consistent.
