The Fuel Gauge on my 287C is very sporadic - tank is almost full, but the needle reads roughly 1/3 shortly after the startup range test. Then the needle drops to near zero. Question: does anyone know the rough ohm range that the sending unit should be putting out? The sending unit is part #271-2912 and described as "0.5W TOP MOUNTED FUEL LEVEL SENDER"
