Made this doohicky about 6 months ago , forgot how useful it really is . I had a similar although smaller on my 453 and used it everyday. This one has a 9" wide bucket that the 843 can push down and curl with ease thanks to the 2.5" cylinder.

I built one a few years ago - so handy!!

It uses a 3"x12" cylinder, and with the linkage, the bucket has about 170 degree of swing. 12" homemade bucket with a Zamboni blade cutting edge, and 3 Bobcat bolt-on teeth. All pivots are greasable. Designed to dig 4' deep

Great job guys, love it. I have a hughes backhoe attachment. Its great, however the machine runs out of weight and downward pressure. its all comparable I suppose, but you guys have done well. Im thinking I will build one soon. I may knock the pin out of the angle blade and adapt to that, using the same actuator.

I purchased my 843 with the 911 backhoe attachment and rarely used it, except turning up my garden a couple times each year. Got stuck several times and sold that and purchased a 3 ton excavator for that job and others. Pretty happy with that switch.
