Ford CL20 skid steer first time owner questions? steering speed slow 1 side

Ok found a little Ford CL20/ Erickson 2548 all original was owned buy a local large animal Vet to clean and feed horses .. the skid has a onan gas engine and runs very good ...The ISSUE that I am having is when operating the skid the left side travel is slower than the right side...left side goes about 1/3 as fast when the left lever is pushed all the way forward!. It seems like maybe a fluid flow problem or maybe something in the left chain drive too tight.. reverse seems fine with the left lever.. any help or advise would be greatly appreciated...

If it's hydrostatic drive, it could be an issue with a shuttle valve in the drive motor, or even a seal.
As you said it goes backwards fine, i doub it is a chain/pump issue, more likely something with the drive motor. If you swap motors from side to side, you can confirm it if the problem moves.
Again, i am assuming it is a hydrostatic machine and not clutches.
