First timer getting feet wet with an old Bobcat 843 in CT/USA

Hi, all just joining in hoping to learn a thing or 2000. An old 1987/1988 Bobcat 843 that seems to work fairly well with mostly minor problems and some rust up front... I'm hoping will serve me plenty well for an old retired guy to putter around with. Hoping to add a backhoe at some point and retire *very* tired TLB I've been using for a few years now.
Hope I'll have something useful to contribute at some point.
