Field find... Thomas Protough 2200 worth it?

Been casually looking and came across this.
Apparently it has sat for a few years and was parked with a radiator problem.
says it should crank if I bring a battery.
Whats this thing worth or is this not worth my time...

just as a general statement when you go into something like this ,you pretty much have to low ball, cause you just do not know how much it is gonna take just to figure out it needs more work. I see it does not have a bucket so a good used one is 500 bucks so start there.

I am just not sure about these machines. There isn't as much info out there on them as the bigger names.
It is kubota powered so that's a plus.
He said they have the bucket available as well.
Just getting it onto the truck to get it home will be a small task let alone not knowing what it needs.

I loved my old Thomas machine. It had the Kubota V1902 engine, which was prone to overheating. Also early designs had some flaws, so there could be cracks in the main body. But that didn't stop me from pushing it to the limit. Good they have the bucket. Mine had their proprietary mount which was very hard to find when I had to replace it. Parts were available via a Thomas dealer.
